  • What is the difference between the 1-hr and 1,5-hr consultation?"
    The 1-hr (60 min) consultation is a quick and efficient way for the designer to understand the nature of the project and address any immediate concerns. This benefits clients who would like to get to know the designer and their process, pick their brains on specific design dilemmas, and get a sense of clarity on how to proceed. On the other hand, the 1,5 hr (90 min) consultation combines some of the essential elements of E-design in terms of the deliverables (concept board, mood and material board, layout, shopping list), but with either an in-person or videocall brainstorming session that will warpspeed the process. It is perfect for room makeovers and styling projects with shorter lead times and cosmetic changes the client can do in their own time. Both design consultations cater to clients who are in need of design solutions but don't necessarily require a full suite design package or would like to customise it further by bundling with an ala carte service.
  • Is it possible to get trade discount prices on furniture, decor and materials?"
    The short answer is yes! I am able to pass on to clients trade-exclusive discount prices from vendors and retailers within the Netherlands and in the EU. Clients with an existing package are eligible for the trade-exclusive discounts. If you would like to do one-off purchases through Design Two & Five, there is a consultation fee of € 295,00 (BTW exclusive), with a minimum order of € 1.500.   • How long will it take to get my room E-design?
    For the E-design package, you will first receive your Concept Board via email within (1) week from receipt of all required items (questionnaire, payment, room sizes, photos). From there, I will need your approval to proceed with the remaining digital deliverables (Mood Board, Material Board, Itemized Shopping List, Floor Plan to Scale, and Room Guide) and then email these items (2-3) weeks from receipt of approved items on the Concept Board. All items will be emailed in a PDF downloadable and printable file.
  • Will you make changes to my plan if I don’t like something you’ve selected? What about items no longer available or on stock?
    If there are items you don’t particularly like from the proposal, had a change of heart on, or are no longer available and are discontinued, please let me know and I will provide up to two (2) sets of reselections for the E-design package and one (1) set for the 90 min design consultation session at no extra charge.
  • Once I have my plan, how am I able to ask follow-up questions?"
    After the receipt of your final plan including the limit of the set/s re-selections/revisions, our obligations to one another for that phase of your project are fulfilled. However, if you do have additional questions, I may consult with you via email regarding your new design plan
